Sentence Structure

Indonesian sentence structure follows a Subject-Verb-Object (SVO) pattern, similar to English. However, there are some unique aspects that English speakers should understand. Indonesian doesn't use verb conjugations like English does - the same verb form is used regardless of who is performing the action. Time is indicated through context or time markers like "sudah" (already), "akan" (will), or "sedang" (currently). This makes Indonesian grammar relatively straightforward for English speakers to learn.
